The FastTract™ Procedure is for use only by qualified surgeons. 

The FastTract™ System Pack provides both the Surgical Procedure Kit and supplies necessary for patient education and the first three months of patient care. FastTract™ is a surgical procedure for the placement of a SCOOP oxygen catheter into the trachea of an oxygen dependent patient.   This approach offers several clinical and patient benefits not available with the traditional method of placement, including oxygen delivery within 24 hours of the procedure and a reduction in the tract maturation period from 6-8 weeks to about 2 (two) weeks.  Surgeons performing the T-10 procedure for the first time are encouraged to watch the V-4, FastTract video, which provides a description and illustration of the procedure.  Again, we would like to stress that the T-10 FastTract™ Kit is for use only by qualified surgeons and should not be performed by pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, or other physicians.  A full copy of the Clinician's Guide can be accessed in either HTML format or Adobe PDF.   A free copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded from Adobe's site.
