T-9 Procedure Tray (Modified Seldinger Insertion Technique) T-9 Procedure Tray is a non-surgical technique for the placement of a SCOOP oxygen catheter into the trachea of an oxygen dependent patient. It is the second step in a 4 phase system comprised of patient selection, the procedure, caring for an immature tract, and caring for a mature tract. More detailed information on the 4 phases can be obtained by contacting our technical services department at rt1@tto2.com, or by telephone at (303) 790-4766, or toll free in the US (800) 527-2667. A full copy of the T-9 Clinician's Guide can be accessed in either HTML or PDF format. A free copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded from Adobe's site. The T-9 Procedure Tray is a two-tier, sterile, disposable, single patient use tray which contains supplies for creating the transtracheal tract which supports SCOOP transtracheal catheters. The "Upper Preparatory Tier" contains supplies for site selection, local anesthesia and skin disinfection. The "Lower Procedure Tier" contains supplies for draping, creating the tract, and Pre-SCOOP stent insertion. Both tiers are designed to rest securely on a small Mayo stand. The SCOOP Clinical Guide for the Modified Seldinger Insertion Technique, SCOOP Patient Chart, SCOOP Patient Workbook, and post procedure patient instructions are included with the procedure tray. The T-9 Procedure tray may be used by pulmonologists, physicians, and surgeons in a day surgery setting. Additional supplies may be needed following the initial procedure. Please see the Minimum Patient Supply list, or contact our technical services department for more information. If you have any questions about the tray or procedure, please contact our technical services department at rt1@tto2.com, or by telephone at (303) 790-4766, or toll free in the US (800) 527-2667. |
