T-10 FastTract Procedure Kit

T-10SP FastTract™ System Pack

The Fast Tract procedure was developed by 
Dr. Alan Lipkin as a true surgical procedure to be performed only by qualified surgeons.

The Fast Tract System Pack provides all of the supplies necessary for the Fast Tract procedure, patient education and the first three months of supplies to insure adequate patient care. Fast Tract is a surgical procedure for the placement of a pre-SCOOP stent into the trachea of an oxygen dependent patient.   This approach offers several clinical and patient benefits not available with the traditional method of placement, including transtracheal oxygen delivery within 24 hours of the procedure and a reduction in the tract maturation period from 6-8 weeks to about 2 (two) weeks.  Surgeons performing the Fast Tract procedure for the first time are strongly encouraged to watch DVD-2, (the Fast Tract procedure,) which shows an actual Fast Tract procedure.  Again, we would like to stress that the T-10 Fast Tract Kit is for use only by qualified surgeons and should not be performed by pulmonologists or other physicians who do not have surgical credentials.  The Fast Tract procedure is designed to be done in a fully supported operating room, and requires an overnight stay by the patient.
